The weather changes very fast. Fogs, snowstorm, wind rising up to 30 ms or even 45 in gusts. Loosing the right direction in no visibility leads to death.

You need 4WD car to get from Maykop City to Lagonaki base place. There is Gazprom 3 stars hotel. It's a 3 km walk to get from hotel to the plateau or you can rent a snowmobile.

Be aware about carts holes, steep slopes. You must have a GPS, rescue radio transmitter, warm clothes, food for emergency cases, etc. National nature park entry fees in 2007 was about 3$ per day.
