Mainly gusty North wind, about 6-18 knots, but stronger than at the Zwergerlinsel. Best winds in spring and summer. It works only with sunshine, without any clouds, then the thermal kicks in at noon. The strongest winds come with cold nights and hot days, and no rain for at least 24 hours.

A95, then S2370 to Grosswell, then S2062 to Kochel. Drive south on B11, pass Urfeld towards Walchensee. After about 1.3km park at the gallery. No official car parking, very limited illegal lots, overcrowded on weekends and windy days.
