Mostly perfect flat water, sometimes little choppy. The lagoon has around 300x100m shallow area.

Almost every day from 8 in the morning till 20:30 in the evening. Wind: 8:00 to 18:00 onshore. 18:00 to 20:30 offshore. In both directions the entry is sideshore. Melthemi: 5-7 Bft (local wind sometimes with thermal support). Thermal wind: upper 3-5 Bft. Every direction works in this lagoon. The wind is extremely gusty.

Get directions from


Fly to Athens airport and take a taxi. Drive to Markopoulo, then Vravrona and Vravrona Bay (a Club Med is there). Transfer 25 min. Car rental is expensive 70,- EUR/day.

Nightlife
One bay in the South there is Porto Raphti with nightlife but you need a car because there are no taxis.
