From Hurghada airport 60km to Safaga, then 20-30 minutes by boat. It's also a good spot for windsurfers and it's possible to reach the island from Safaga takes about 10-15 minutes with windsurf or 30 minutes by boat and it also offers great snorkeling for the ones who just like to come on the boat and don't want to spend the day surfing.
