Small, sandy beach. Not much place, and packed in summer. Do not launch on packed days. Further up the beach, where the cliff starts, you will find enough space to safely launch and land.

The winds depend on depressions. Westerlies are offshore and very gusty. Mainly in summer East wind can be very nice, also a bit thermal driven. Any strength possible, but summer usually lighter.

Get directions from

From Hamburg or Luebeck drive North on the A1 towards Puttgarden. Take exit Haffkrug/Sierksdorf and drive all the way to the water. Hitting the beach turn left and follow the road along the water. Where the street takes a left turn and goes up the hill, this is the point where the cliff starts. Find a place to rig.

The small beach will be very packed in summer. Do not launch here if it is packed. Lifeguards during summer season.

There is a big nightclub `Bambu` about 5 min drive away towards Neustadt. Or drive to Timmendorfer Strand and here in the 'Nautic Club'.
