Sailing area is a large bay. Flat to choppy water with a shallow area. Tidal spot. Sandbar several hundred yards from shore. Nice waves on a Southeasterly wind. Southwesterly winds flatten the waves and make for flat water kiting.

Launch area at low tide is over a sandbar that is several hundred yards from shore. Two obstacles to consider - remnants of anti-erosion barriers (mostly buried and easily avoided), and power lines. Which are relatively close to high tide shoreline on the Eastern end of the beach.
