Choppy flat to choppy water, soft beach break. About 2 mile from shore you can get some waves on a reef. Be careful with sea life around like sea turtles, manatee and Man of War jelly fish! Also during holidays there's plenty of boats and jet ski out in the water.

Best wind December to September, trade winds, wind 15-25 knots. Blows East to West. Wind is about 50% even in season. The windy season starts from December and tapers off in May. Winds are somewhat unpredictable and inconsistent in the 10-25+ knots range between September and mid November, rain and the peak of the Hurricane season during this period. The North Atlantic high generates the trade winds that blow during late spring and summer at a steady 15-20 knots.
