At this beach the conditions vary from flat to wave. Tidal spot, so tide can make a big difference. On high tide with onshore winds you can find excellent waves. On coming or going tide with sideshore winds the water can be flat and choppy. Further out a big sandbar is located, therefore the waves break further out on normal conditions. Beware of the long wave breakers, which you can't see during high tide. Further west the beach vanishes on high tide and you will only be able to land on a promenade. You should be able to stay upwind in N and NE winds. Same for SW and W winds, since a swimming zone is located to the East.
