Mix of different water between the lagoon and reef pass with 2 waves. A very little tide (50 cm max) twice a day. Shallow water with the reef downwind, so be careful. Ask the locals, they will help you with their knowledge. The water is crystal clear and has beautiful colors.

Very variable. You can kite one full week and have no more wind for 2 weeks. Usually 2 to 3 sessions a week. Trade winds. Works with East and Northeast winds. Can be very gusty when ESE. Wind usually sideshore. Works all year round except from December to February when it's the rainy season and the wind is very gusty.

Go to Moorea island, there is only one road. Go to Haapiti and stop at the park lot of the Hotel Les Tipaniers. 25 km from the airport and 30 from the harbor. Hitch hiking works, a lot of kiters on the road to the spot from 9-11 am! Buses are very rare. To access use the road of the Hotel Les Tipaniers and walk to the beach for 100 m. Pass the wharf and the beach is here.

Use a leash, respect the locals and their advice. If you wound yourself one the reef, use some green lemon, it hurts but saves your holidays.
