The most beautiful water on Mallorca. Flat to choppy. Shallow for about 50-100m. A few reef plates in the water, which you can see easily. During season lots of boats around.

White sandy beach. Long bay, not wide. Packed during season, should be avoided to kite. Do not kite where all the tourists are. Off-season only few people. If you walk further, the beach gets less crowded.

During May to September thermal winds, which are not as strong as in Palma. So during season less wind, but should be enough days with a big kite. Fall to spring days with stronger winds.

From Palma drive to the East towards Santanyi either on the highway 19 to its end, then 602 and in Llucmajor on the 717. Or from the highway 19 on exit 10 directly onto 717. Behind Campos del Puerto take PM-604 towards Colonia de Sant Jordi. After about 2km turn right and follow the signs to Playa de Es Trenc. You have to pay for parking on a huge parking lot. Walk down the dunes and get to the beach. If packed, walk some 100m to the right for the less crowded part. Quiet a walk from the parking lot away from the crowds.

No kiting in summer! If you come near swimmers you have to pay up to 3000 Euro fine! Do not kite here if packed with tourists. If more people are on the beach, walk all the way to the right where less people are around.
