From March to September, thermal winds blowing with SW direction and from 8-20 kts. When SE or E are blowing normally are more gusty and usually from 15-30 kts.

Malgrat is placed 57 km at north Barcelona, best zone for kitesurfing is at north of Malgrat de Mar inside the industrial zone.

In July and August kitesurfing has been forbidden on weekends but it has been allowed on 3 km at south Malgrat. But no easy access to this area.
