The sandy beach is about 15m wide. It is a small beach. It gets seriously crowded in summer, beach will be packed with tourists, so no way to launch there. Avoid hot sunny days.

Get directions from


From Hamburg and Luebeck drive North on the A1. Exit where signs say `Groemitz` and follow that direction. In Groemitz drive North on the B501 to Lenste. Follow signs to Lenste and from Lenste drive to the water or follow signs to Lenster Strand. Look out for a small, quiet empty beach.
