From Las Americas airport take a taxi to Santo Domingo and from there rent a car and take a 1 hr drive to Bani which is to the west of Santo Domingo. From there follow the signs to Salinas. There's only 1 hotel there but it's very good.

The spot is really good, there's nobody there during the week days, and on the weekend is mostly 5-10 windsurfers and 1-2 kitesurfers.
