Always waves when there is wind. Big swell out the back and can be perfect 1m faces on the inside. Always the best waves with a SW wind.

At high tide, not much space as there are many huts, groynes and obstruction. Pebbles at the top, but 2 hours after high tide nice flat and hard sand appears. Nice grass area to inflate, but not to launch or land.

Get directions from


From Brighton seafront, head west for 20min along the coast, pass Shoreham (another good spot) and you will see a car park and a grass area.

Restricted Zones


No flying on the grass, only on the beach. The beach is popular in the summer, so a short walk up or down wind to avoid the crowds will stop any complaints.
