401 East to Chatham, then take Hwy 40 north towards Wallaceburg. Follow signs for turn off to Mitchell's Bay. In Mitchell's Bay drive North to the lake for about 1 mile to the launch. About 90 min from Detroit and 45 min from Windsor.
Do not launch on the beach or in the swimming area! Water launch where the water gets over waist deep and downwind of the rigging area.
Chatham would be the closest town with nightclubs about a 15 minutes drive away.
