Grassy beach to set up. Lots of space. Kiters set up at the far south of the park, upwind of the windsurfers. OK for beginners but it helps to know how to go upwind so you don't end up in the marina.

From Dallas take I-30 to the Zion Rd. exit. Exit right. Take the next left and it dead ends into the park. Kiters go to the far south end.

There's a bar in the Marina next door. Good nightlife can be found in Dallas.
