The water is quite flat on the edge of the lake and you can get small waves (<1m) in the middle of the lake during huge depression coming from the ocean. The water looks green/yellow. Shallow access.

June to September: you have what we call `thermal`, local wind starting to blow usually in the afternoon (with tide) picking up between 3:30pm and 6pm. Direction is West/Northwest with wind average between 12-18 knots. 16-20m2 are the perfect size. September and October: wind is strongly blowing (up to 30-40 knots) when depressions are coming. Best wind direction are southerlies.

Sanguinet is in Southwest France. Bordeaux Merignac Airport A63 direction Arcachon. Then follow signs to Sanguinet. Cazaux is just about 9km northwest of Sanguinet, on the north tip of the lake.
