Just at the NE of the Breezanddijk (A7). Park directly east of the sluice.

Kiters should be very careful, since the highway is close to the water. Kite launch in the water. Strictly forbidden to launch your kite on shore! The spot is open for kitesurfing from 1st of May to 1st of October. Nature preservation area is restricted. Rules are very strict. Police will give you a fine of at least 130 Euro if you violate the rules, so check the blue sign or ask the locals, before you go out.

Nightlife can be found in the town of Makkum and on the camping site at Makkum beach.
