Water
Type:
Shallow, Flat, Chop, Small Wave (< 1m)
Hazards:
None
Quality:
Clean
Best Tide:
Tide Independent

On one side of land you can find sea with waves high for 1-1.5m. On the other side (South) of land there's an enormous bay - great place with shallow water - it's one of the most amazing places in Europe for any water activities. The water is so shallow that you can stand on the ground even 500m from the shore. The gulf water is quite flat. Only when it blows strong (6 Bft and more) you will find some chop.
Beach
Type:
Sand
Size:
Medium
Hazards:
None
Beach Users:
July, August

The best sand, very fine and soft, no rocks, no shells, no pebbles, no dangerous things in the water. The beaches are very big and wide so there is no problem with kite landing or launching. It's a bay which can be used in any wind direction if you have a car. If you don't than you can always chose between bay or see. On the sea side the beach is large enough to prepare your gear to launch - on the gulf side the situation isn't so good. It depends on which camp you are at. Very crowded in summer time.

Wind

Best Months:
May, June
Wind Type:
Frontal Winds
Best Direction:
E
Main Direction:
SW, WSW, W

Generally it blows from West/Southwest directions what means side/sideonshore winds. In June and July the wind is quite stable. More stable when it blows from East (rare). When it blows from North - it's better to try surfing on the sea. Winds aren't too strong. The best winds are in May and June (often 4-5 Bft) in the middle of summer you've got to hunt for it with forecasts. At the south end N and S winds will be sideshore.

How to get there
Transport:
Car
Access:
Short Walk

Get directions from

Airplane: Gdansk or Warsaw and then Gdansk. Bus: to Wladyslawowo. Train: to Wladyslawowo. Then a taxi, auto-stop or bus and then you have to choose which from 8 camps you prefer. In my opinion the best are number 1, than 3 and 6. First you've got to get to Gdansk or something called Trojmiasto (you have there agglomeration of 3 cities). From Gdansk you take main road to North. This road will drive you to a city called Reda. In Reda before the church turn right and follow the beacon. It's about 50/60 km from Gdansk.
