Beach

Wide sandy beach, quiet long. Very packed in summer with lots of beach chairs.

Wind

Westerly winds with depressions. Summer lighter. Nice NE and E winds in summer, but not very often. Best in easterlies. Sideshore NNE and SSW.

Take A1 from Hamburg to Luebeck, pass Luebeck and exit A1 on signs to Haffkrug and drive to the beach. About 80km from Hamburg.

Very packed in summer, should be avoided. During season swimming zone and fees to access the beach.

Nightlife

Small nightlife in Timmendorfer Strand (about 10 min drive).
