Sandy beach with lots of pebbles and shells. About 20m wide beach. Longer beach with enough space. Grassy rigging areas along the dirt road.

Westerly winds with depressions. Best from fall to spring. Summer lighter. Nice NE and E winds in summer, but not very often. Best in NE and NW winds.

Get to Fehmarn and take the first exit and drive to Landkirchen, Lemkendorf and then to Petersdorf. Now drive to Schlagsdorf and here turn right and drive to Daenschendorf. Now follow signs to Altenteil and 'Strand'. Several accesses to the beach, but drop of your gear before and then park your car for free before you hit the beach or even further before if the parking lot is packed. Or drive the the camping ground all the way to the left on the dirt road and pay for parking directly at the beach.

Don't kite in front of the camping grounds, left or right of the access. Wooden fishing net markers in the water to the west.
