Wide beach. Nice ocean spot to launch. Can be crowded with sunbathers in the summer. Further south permit vehicle access is allowed but there may be some odd rule about this being for surf-fishing only, thus no swimming or kite launching - read posted signs.

Get directions from


Left off of Route 1S in Deleware. Leave Dewey Beach and take your first left after the Rohoboth Beach Sailing Center. Alternate beach access further south on 1.

Park fee, as this is a National Seashore, of $5 per day for out of state vehicles gives access to all parks. In state, $2. Season out of state pass, $40.
