Great wave sailing on one side, and flat water in the protected bay on the other side. At Damon you can go on the surf side and it will be smaller than the CLRV reading. Damon can be a bit burly surf side though since it beach breaks pretty hard on the first wave rather than stair stepping like Manzanita or curling like the points and jetties. If it is too big, now that the road is fixed you can bay sail off the end again in Gorge like conditions as well for a safer alternative.

Tacoma Airport. Located smack dab on the middle of Washingtons coast it's only 2 hours from Seattle. The fastest way from Seattle is South I-5 to Olympia. Take the Hwy 101 exit then the Hwy 8 exit 5 miles later. Hwy 8 turns into HWY 12 at Elma. Follow 12 to Aberdeen and follow the north side of Grays Harbor out towards Ocean Shores. Hwy 12 turns into Hwy 101 then into Hwy 109 through Hoquiam. When 109 hits the coast turn left (south) on Hwy 115 to the jetty.
