At this beach the wind gets accelerated and is stronger as on the ocean side. All directions work. The north easterly wind is prevailing and makes for almost constant winds in Dakhla all year round. The wind generally blows from the North/north east. It is very constant, and blows from 15 to 25 knots, all day long. The wind strength increases during the summer months of July and August.
