The first 800m from the shore are shallow and flat. At the outher sandbar you can find breaking waves from 1m up to 4m. The waves are not powerful or dangerous.

Only a small sandy beach, in December and January there are about 100 windsurfer every day. The spot is big enough for everyone. The kitezone is 300m downwind.

Fly into Perth. Get a car, head North on Grand National Highway (GNH) No.1 (420km). 30km after Geraldton leave GNH No.1 at the sign "Coronation Beach". 8km more and your are at the beach.
