The typical conditions throughout the summer are light winds in the morning, giving ideal conditions for learning to kite/windsurf. Then the wind will usually build to a steady force 3-5 in the afternoon. All winds pre-dominantly blow cross-shore, cross-onshore and on-shore, making for easy and safe free-riding conditions. It's also not uncommon for the mistral's to blow in, these occur throughout the season, causing the winds to strengthen over a three day period, the wind strength can rise to a force 7.

Just head down the main Corfu road to the south of the Island. Turn right at signs for Issos Beach at Linia and follow it to the water. Walk for quiet a bit.
