Long, sandy beach. Sunbathers and swimmers normally stick to the main beach of Clacton, but there are 4 bays further west with plenty of space and plenty of sand for easy set up and launching of kites. Unless its a really hot day or a bank holiday, you might have space on the beach, but you will not find anywhere to park. Large rocks and jetties wooden sewage pipe holder in main kite beach.

From Colchester drive southeast on B1027 towards Clacton-on-Sea. Finding a parking spot in summer is not easy, better go to Southend.
The kite surfers are friendly though, will help if you are in trouble and like wise would be nice too.
