Get directions from


From Helena, take Canyon Ferry road to the lake (18 miles), cross Canyon Ferry Dam, and pull into Kim's Marina. Launch is at the point. Parking is next to the beach.

No special restrictions, night time camping fees. 10 mile down winders from Kim's Marina to Helgate campground with car pickup are a local favorite.
