Like all spots in Bali, this spot as well needs some water. The higher tides give some chop inside the lagoon. The lower the tides gets, the flatter the water will be inside the lagoon. Watch out for the urchins with these low tides! When the tide is too low to kite inside the lagoon you can always kite on the open water behind the reef. Right in front of the Club Med hotel you will find a nice power full righthander which breaks on a shallow reef, on the right side of a reef pass. Low tide makes this wave very shallow. Outgoing tides create very strong rips, so be careful not to loose your board or drop your kite! The rest of the reef around the lagoon give nice little waves for jumping and some wave riding!

A nice little restaurant named `Kendi Kuning` you will find here as well. The beach has a lifeguard on duty between 10 am and 4 pm. Some breakwater jetties with little cabana's provide some shade and a good place to do some photography.
