Open ocean facing east. Swell ranges from 0.5-2m. Waves can be quite punchy and sometimes there is a beach break. There is a rocky bottom close to launch area which has a good swell out the back. Possible blue bottle stingers on a NE wind.

From Brisbane, Caloundra is about 1hr drive north and is actually the southern tip of the sunshine coast. Anne St. is located at Dickey Beach. You can actually hit the beach any where from its north to Pt Cartright at Mooloolaba which is about 10km North.
