Nice flat water. Choppier in the middle of the lake. The lake is about 7x8 km big, lots of space.

No beach, just grass. Several access points. Good area is just behind the dam to the ocean.

Any strength possible with depressions. Best winds in fall and spring. Summer lighter. Any directions works here, best are westerlies. At the launch to the west side of the lake, close to the ocean, westerlies will be offshore. Best direction: NW. Big fun factor in strong NW winds, then you will get a second lift when jumping close to the shore/dam.

Get directions from


Take E45 and exit at no.61 and take 28 to Vejle. Then onto 18 passing Give, Brande and Herning until you reach Holstebro. Here take the 11 towards Struer, crossing Oddesund until Ydby. Take a left onto 527 shortly after Gettrup and Vestervig left again onto 181 direction Agger. Follow 181, and turn right into Agger. Follow the street to the beach and park here, or turn right before the dunes and follow the road further North, then you will get to the lake and the launch. To get to the launch between the lake and the dam, you have to drive around the east side of the lake and come from the north.
