Narrowish beaches but wide enough for safe launches and landing. Only obstacles are volley ball nets, or small boats in water. Easy to handle for intermediate to advanced. The beach is next to Scallywag restaurant, is not so long but wide enought for land and launching the kite, is the best place for kitesurfing around the 3 Gilis, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan, there are no rocks or coral hazards, and not tide dependent.

When you get to the Island of GIlli Air (do not confuse with 2 other Gilli Islands next door a 5min boat ride). You can walk around the island in 2 hours, to give you an idea of size. Find the accommodation that suits you and the that suits the wind direction.
The odd party daily in varying places on the island. I gave them a miss this time, but they go until morning. Not a party place though, the other Gilli islands are. This is a mellow almost honeymooners spot, but I'll let you know more after a few days
