Nice flat water. With stronger winds more chop. Excellent flat behind the small island. Some stones when entering the water.

Get to New Braunfels and here towards Canyon Lake. Get on 2673, drive through Sattler and you will see the signs to the Comal Park. Depending on the wind direction drive to the Swim Beach or to the East Boat Ramp.

It is a public park where you have to pay for daily access (US$ 4 per car and US$ 1 per person, annual pass US$ 30). The park closes at sunset. Stay away from the swimmers. Watch out for boats and jet skis.
