Extra Information
Rules:
Restricted Zones, Time Restrictions

You can kiteboard off the regular beach after 5pm beyond 100 yards from shore well away from other beach goers. Before 5pm you have to go to the area between the first and second buildings to the south. Do not leave gear above the high tide line as the condo maintenance folks may impound it. Do not fly your kite on the beach for any longer than it takes to get offshore. Go out and stay out beyond 100 yards. There are exposed rocks to the south making landing in an emergency difficult or in one area, impossible. Do not annoy condo residents or lifeguards in this small, technical launching area. Not suitable for new kiters or those that can't stay upwind. Kites riding inside 100 yards of lifeguarded shore areas on downwinders have threatened access at this and at other launches. Stay offshore, no exceptions in this area.
